"Tank Slap" or "Speed Wobble" or "Death Wobble" is caused because at higher speeds the front tire lifts off the ground alil; since all power is coming from the back, so if the bars tilt alittle too much and you over correct; you end up in this situation. The best course of action if you're caught in it, is to speed up ASAP. This will lift the front tire more, so you can straighten out and continue on.
