Yes, indeed. The beliefs of atheism are illogical! When we Christians see a tsunami we know that God who is all powerful and merciful could stop it if he wanted, but he doesn't and so we know he is there mercifully not doing anything about it. And then most of the people who are drowned will go to Hell anyway because they don't believe in the Bible like us so it doesn't matter if they drown anyway. But he forgives them, if they convert while they're drowning.

@MrMick73 I haven't given you any reason to be angry at me. I'm not forcing you to believe, I'm not pushing this on you. You asked a question, and I responded. Jesus came to die because a sin against God is a debt that has to be paid. If I broke a lamp in your house, you could either forgive me that and tell me not to pay for a new one, in which case you would have to buy a new one, OR you could make me pay. God chose to forgive us, because He loves us that much! He chose to pay Himself.

@MrMick73 if we are 'just monkeys', then why do we cry out against genocide, rape, murder and injustice? Why do we ask "what's wrong with the world?" when there's a tsunami or earthquake? The response to suffering and the beliefs of atheism are incompatible and illogical! Again, great question. God created us to be in a relationship with Him and love Him, so when we don't, that's sin, yes? Because God is just, a penalty needed to be paid. But He loves us SO much that He sent His Son to pay it!!!

Yes, that's right. Ig God had said 'you can get off free this time' to people who had done naughty things like steal a packet of biscuits from the supermarket, then he would be inconsistent and random. That is why he had to drown all life on earth because Eve ate of the tree of knowledge so we all deserve to be killed, even little babies because of original sin. Thank goodness Jesus came down and changed God's mind, because he was God, even though he was a bit different as well!
