I'm Thomas and this is my testimony. Iv'e been a christian since I was 4, but never really "followed god" I would tell people I did but, but allways had a douting feeling he wasn't real, or didn't care about me. That all changed 2 days before my 16th birthday. My youth group and I went to this teen christian, concert/church that lasted for 3 days and had about 4000 teens.The 2 day is the day that really changed me. The paster told us to all bow our heads and close our eyes, and quote -find pt2-

@TomCuthbert93 The christian 'package' should be broken down. I felt very cheated when I found out how unscriptural christianity is. I still believe Yeshua is Messiah, son of Elohim (g-d), perfect likeness of the Father. We need to let go off traditions and beliefs that are unscriptural: lawlessness (ie one single command changed, as if The Maker would change His mind about how we should live!), christmas, easter, all things pagan. But I also had a major encounter at 20 (till now 46) :)

@TomCuthbert93 John 1:1 reconciles that dilemna. Not same 'person' in that there is no difference between the Father and Son, but both contain the quality of being 'God'. There are many verses attributing qualities reserved for God to Christ. Hope this clears things up a bit.

The difference between religion and relationship. Religion is a list of rules in the hopes of pleasing god. Relationship is realising you are not good(by God's standard), and Christ already did the work, and then accepting him as your lord and savior. You just have to accept the gift. It wasn't a set of moral rules that saved this man. Or good thoughts. Or well thought out ideas. It was Jesus Christ. Having said that, if one truly has Christ, it will show by his behavior.
