Let's do a recap! Why work from home?

I run a home business! All my clients visit me at my home to discuss projects.

I hope you too want to run something from the comfort of your home. If you do not want to work from home, you wouldn't be reading this.

Okay, here are my 10 solid reasons to work from home.

1. Independence: We crave for a lot independence in our work. Is it not?  I prefer to do my own thing making mistakes and willing to take the risks that goes with it. The satisfaction derived from doing original work and becoming successful is a million dollar feeling! My own home business let me give that satisfaction.

2. Enjoy the learning experience: We learn from our mistakes faster if we are left to ourselves. Soon we learn to make new mistakes every day rather than repeating the same old mistakes as in a supervised environment. When you work from home you learn things faster as you are left to yourself.

3. Freedom to make decisions: Who wouldn't like to be the captain of the ship and the master of destiny? We would like to do it our way and get it right.
 

4. Flexible working hours:  The freedom to choose our work hours is in itself a reward in my work from home business. Earlier I use to work around 12 hours grudgingly, feeling exploited and going to bed with a migraine headache. Once I turned to freelancing, I work 16  hours a day and still goes to bed feeling fresh!

5. New challenges: Are you the sort of person who rises up to challenges and winning? If you are, then you share a common trait with other successful home business persons.

6. Way to true wealth: "You will never get rich by working for someone else" is an an old saying. The potential for financial freedom, job satisfaction and  freedom that one enjoys in a home business is tremendous.

7. To do quality work: The drive to excel is another motivating factor. Many times employees are compromised due to larger interests of the organization they work for. The result is dissatisfaction. Own business, gives you the freedom to be the best in what you do. 

8. Reputation: You will be identified with the quality of work rather than by an organization or a designation. In short you can begin to work on your reputation and individual identity.

9. Better rewards: Many a time our salary and positions do not match with our achievement. To top it all, we also had to submit various proposal to various people to initiate a new project. 

Being in home business, You can react fast to changing situations and increase productivity multifold.

10. Fear of getting fired: A professional can get fired from his/her job...often on silly reasons.  He could also be a victim of petty corporate politics. Now a days the period of unemployment can last longer. 

No one can fire you from your own home business!

It is very important to know "why" you have to be in home business before "what home business" you should be in.
